News "Hope For Children" Donates Pesos 300,000 to Charities In Davao, Philippines!
Continuing it's mission of helping the less fortunate children of this world, FE's "Hope for Children" Charity Fund donated Pesos 300,000 ( Pesos 150,000 each) to the Mount Apo Lions Club and to NCCC Cares Foundation. At FE's Mindanao Leaders Summit and Achievers Recognition Dinner held at Grand Menseng Hotel, Davao City, Mindanao, Philippines on 30th October 2009, mock cheques were presented by FE's Founder CEO Paul Ting to Myla, President of Mount Apo Lions Club and to Lafayette Lim, President of NCCC Cares. Also present was the co-beneficiary of the Mount Apo Lions Club, Cindy Chua, Founder of "Love The Children" Foundation.
FE's social entrepreneurship platform is certainly making an impact everywhere. All the recipient organisations above were very impressed with FE's social entrepreneurship concept and are keen to participate. It is a Win-Win-Win situation. Charity organisations and NGO's now have a platform to do business on a global scale, not only to sustain themselves but also to grow their operations. It is a paradigm shift from the old traditional model of depending solely on donations, which cannot be relied upon, especially in these days of global economic uncertainties.
